About Hero Cards, Inc.
How many times has someone done something so special you just had to thank them? Ms. Alexander has created an extraordinary way to do just that. Her Hero Cards, Inc., a 100% woman-owned entity, offers a sole mission to help people recognize those individuals who make a difference in our world. From the nurse who cares for an elderly family member to the fireman who helps save your home, there are heroes among us that often go unnoticed.
With nothing similar available on a national scale, Ms. Alexander designed her line of greeting cards with confidence that there would be an immediate need for them as soon as they were printed. She visited card stores in her Southern California hometown for just the right thank you card for her mother’s caregiver and for a family friend off in Iraq and realized that there was a shortage of cards that show our appreciation.
In 2008, Hero Cards, Inc. was founded to provide tangible opportunities for recognizing individuals who make a difference in our world. The company offers a greeting card line of the highest quality that is both cost and ecologically conscious and provides a percentage of its profits to organizations that help families facing adversity. Hero Cards, Inc. is a member of the Greeting Card Association (GCA) and the Better Business Bureau (BBB).

Finding it hard to thank life’s everyday heroes?
INTRODUCING HERO CARDS, INC.
NEW WEBSITE AND UNIQUE GREETING CARD LINE TO LAUNCH TODAY
TO CELEBRATE THOSE WHO OFTEN GO UNNOTICED
Irvine, CA, November 3, 2008… How many times has someone done something so special you just had to thank them? New company Hero Cards, Inc. has announced that it will launch its website www.herocardsinc.com today to help you do just that.
Hero Cards has come up with a tangible way to recognize those individuals who make a difference in our world. From the nurse who cares for an elderly family member to the fireman who helps save your home, to a friend away at war fighting on behalf of our country, there are heroes among us that often go unnoticed.
Designed to showcase and sell this collection of unique greeting cards, the new website offers vibrant images with easy directions for even the most novice internet shopper to use. The site also features a FREE downloadable card sample that can be sent to one’s favorite hero.
Created with kind sentiments coupled by inspiring drawings and photographs, the cards are meant to reflect warmth and gratitude. With nothing similar available on a national scale, retailers began clamoring to get their hands on the merchandise as soon as they were printed. Store owners at hospital gift shops have said, “We have never had a specific card for thanking the doctors and nurses upstairs that are treating our customer’s family members.” Traditional gift and card stores mentioned that they had also never seen “an appropriate card for honoring a friend overseas in the military.”
As the company developed its line, new designs for cards celebrating firefighters, police officers, teachers and coaches were included. As a “Navy brat” herself, Hero Cards founder Kathryn Alexander initially created the Southern California company to offer cards for those looking to correspond with the troops overseas, but her idea grew into wanting to thank all of our everyday heroes. Using high quality and cost-efficient materials that are environmentally conscious, her dream has finally become a reality.
This Veterans Day, Hero Cards, Inc. will hand-deliver “Thank You” cards to the patients of the Veterans Administration Greater Los Angeles Healthcare Center to honor their strength, courage and effort on behalf of our country. One of the most altruistic ventures around, the company gives back to Veterans organizations and their families whose lives have been touched by tragedy during their military service.
